Love smiles A little smile can warm a cold heart.sometimes, you just need to put a smile on your face to spark up the light of hope in a hopeless soul.remember the song, "show a little bit of love and kindness?" line of that song says, "Take a little time to reach for joy and wear a happy face."
Love intercedes.Godly love and concern for the needy moves you to pray for them and with them.it is sad that many times we promise someone, "I''ll be praying for you," but we never keep our promise.Love seeks Gods intervention in the lives of others.it pleads for God's mercy on their behalf (Ephesians 6;18).
Love counsels and encourages others.it is possible for a person's desire to be misguided or destructive, especially if he is a teenager.in this case, counseling is a very useful way of expressing love.Right counsel will not only meet a need, but also saves a straying soul (proverbs11;14) .also, love doesn't flatter; rather, it encourages.biblical encouragement keeps the person in need focused on God to meet his needs.it helps him to believe, claim and appropriate the promises of God for his needs(1 Thessalonians 5;11).
Love, above all, visits. Visitation goes a long way to give hope and strength to the aged, sick, bereaved, downcast, destitute, downtrodden and the spiritually weak and feeble minded.constant visits to these people may be worth more to them than you can possibly imagine.it is a great sacrifice of love when you make out time from your very busy schedule to visit somebody (James 1;27) As you continue to demonstrate Christlike love to people, keep in mind the words of the hymn writer, Baylus Benjamin Mckinney,"somebody needs your love;somebody needs your love, someone in sadness, yearning for gladness, somebody needs your love" indeed, somebody somewhere needs your love!
